About Jeroen Achtien
Chef Jeroen Achtien earned his first 2 Michelin stars at Restaurant Sens in Vitznau, Switzerland. He was named Discovery of the Year by Gault&Millau in 2019, Promise of the Year in 2022 and also received a 17/20 score in 2025. Within a year of opening Inter Scaldes, he managed to achieve 2 Michelin stars in one go in 2024.
For Jeroen, high cuisine is about refined balance. About finding harmony, with fermentation as an additional challenge to bring ingredients together in renewed and bold form.
